What we Do

We are more than just a lakewear brand. We believe in preserving our lakes for the next generation to come. That’s why we donate 10% of our earning to clean water initiatives.

  • Seaward Collective exists to preserve and celebrate the legacy of our lakes. We’re here to foster a community that values and sustains our lakes, and promotes responsible stewardship for future generations.

  • We’re here to build a world where the vitality of our lakes are safeguarded for all to enjoy for generations to come. Seaward Collective strives to be a driving force in the protection and preservation of our precious natural resources.

Our story

Our family was lucky enough to grow up around a lake because of our grandfather, Tom G. Seward.

In high school, Tom often snuck into Princes Lake to go fishing at night. After he served in the Korean War for two years, Tom used his earnings to buy a plot of land on Princes Lakes.

Through the years, Tom took that plot of land and started building out his dream lake house with his wife, Thelma. He spent countless hours adding additions, steps, docks, boathouses, a garage, and even an art studio to the lake house. Tom’s lakehouse became a place for the entire family to gather.

His two sons and six grandchildren all learned to swim, fish, kayak, and boat at the lake. When Tom retired as an art teacher, Thelma and he moved down to the lake permanently. In July of 2023, Tom passed away after spending Fourth of July weekend with his whole family at the lake.

Seaward Collective exists to honor Tom’s legacy of lakeside adventures and to help ensure our lakes remain clean for future generations. That’s why Seaward Collective is committed to donating 10% of our annual profits towards clean water initiatives. Our lakes are too important to not protect.
